PrimaStasys Inc. was founded in 2001 to provide executive mentoring and start-up project management services.

In 2003, PrimaStasys expanded its scope to provide specialty services in the following areas:

• Design and deployment of large-scale Samba clusters for use in mission critical applications such as electronic discovery and high-density image processing.
• Provision of Samba training in the USA and Europe.
• Design and implementation of Red Hat Linux cluster servers.
• Specialized deployment training for Linux back-office solutions for small to medium businesses.
• Business process consulting to help enterprise businesses to identify a suitable role for the deployment of open standards and open source software solutions in their five-year planning horizons.
• Founding of the Open Source Standards Alliance and the hosting of a conference called: "Open Standards and Open Source: Minimizing Risk, Maximizing Opportunity", held at Scottsdale, Arizona, August 14, 2004.
